The winners, Michel and Anthony, used Techlam in every room in the home, demonstrating in a practical and aesthetic way the infinite possibilities of this innovative and technologically unrivalled material.

The fourth series of the American programme “Rock the Block” premiered on March 6 on HGTV (Home & Garden Television). Four teams were tasked with renovating a house under equal conditions: they had 6 weeks to carry out their design projects, and a budget of $100,000. All of them chose to use Techlam sintered stone from the Levantina Group in their proposals.

The versatility of this innovative material was demonstrated in this programme shot in Pennsylvania, USA. Techlam was used in the worktops and to cover walls, floors and fireplaces in all the participants' proposals. Without a doubt, a showcase of possibilities displayed in the most practical way.

The technical characteristics of this material, with its high resistance to scratches and high temperatures, as well as its large size and thinness, make it one of the best options when it comes to quick and effective renovations. In addition, the diversity of its designs adds an extra touch of style, design and sophistication that only sintered stone can offer.

In the end, the team of Michel and Anthony won series 4 of Rock The Block. Their proposition increased the home's value from 1.9 million to 2.85 million, and in their architectural and decoration project, they used Techlam on all the surfaces of the house.

The material they selected for the kitchen worktop and the fire area was Marvel Gold, and also in the pantry and laundry room. They also used this material to resurface the fireplace in the living room. They opted for the Kaledonia model in the guest bathroom. In the main bathroom, Kalos Bianco was used as the main material for the walls, floors and worktops. Elsewhere, in the kitchen on the lower floor, Michel and Anthony chose both Sahara Blanche and Sahara Noir.

The materials used in the proposals of the other participants are listed below.
Jon & Kristina chose Kaledonia to cover the kitchen's cooking area and Steel Dark for the extractor hood. In the back of the kitchen and in the pantry, they used Pietra Grey Aged. Kaledonia was also chosen for the laundry room and the half bathroom, together with Concerto. In the bathroom and the master bedroom, Kaledonia was also the predominant material, both for the worktops and tiles.

The team of Page and Mitch chose Calacatta Macchia for the kitchen worktops and Strattos for the pantry area. On the ground floor, they used Metallo Dark to coat the chimney, and the bathroom proposed for the gym area was surfaced with Marvel Gold.

Bryan & Sarah decided to use Rhino for the kitchen worktops. They selected Nomad Dark for the fireplace area. In the master bedroom, they came up with an original breakfast nook that was clad in Metallo Pearl, and in the main bathroom they chose Kaledonia to clad both the shower and the worktops. On the lower floor of the house, these interior designers proposed a smoothie bar, which they covered using Kalos Bianco.

The range of possibilities offered by Techlam is surprising. The ability to choose the sizes, thicknesses and finishes makes sintered stone one of the most versatile materials in the construction sector.
